In practice, however, as the current increases, the inductance coefficient decreases. Therefore, it is also necessary to examine the DC bias curve. Furthermore, the difference between using domestically produced iron powder/ferrite powder and imported iron powder/ferrite powder will affect the losses at high frequencies of the magnetic ring. Specifically, ferrite with a higher nickel-zinc iron oxide resistivity exhibits lower losses at high frequencies, while smaller iron particles are preferable for iron powder. Compared to iron powder and ferrite powder, ferrite powder does not generate eddy currents, resulting in lower losses. However, its relative inductance coefficient is slightly smaller than that of the iron powder core.
