The fifth round of C-class amateur radio operation technical capability assessment for CRAC 2024 was successfully held on October 26, 2024, at the Senhu Mountain Resort in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
The examination administration work is organized by a preparatory group consisting of Liu Xu (BA8DX), Liu Hu (BD8AAA), Peng Houqi (BA8BQ), Deng Ming, Zhang Xingguo, Zou Daoyong, Jiang Yunhui (BD8AVK), Li Chenyan (BI8EUQ), Yuan Kai (BG8AMM), Chen Kai (BH8DRE), Li Bin (BG8BRX), and others, who are members of the Sichuan Provincial Radio and Television Association. This group provides考生 with services such as transportation guidance, accommodation booking, meal arrangements, and exam ticket printing. They also prepare examination-specific stationery, erasers, notepaper, and drinking water in advance for the考生.
The secretary-general of the Amateur Radio Division of the China Association of Wireless Telegraphy, Lü Péiyán (BG1NG), is responsible for supervision. The deputy secretary-general and head of the Card Management Department, Teng Yétà (BA1GG), is responsible for verification and supervision. Duan Guoming (BG8GHE), vice-secretary-general of the Chongqing Association of Wireless Telegraphy, also participates in the supervision work.
The Sichuan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau requires invigilators to fulfill their duties, be familiar with the examination process, strictly adhere to examination rules, and ensure the consistency and professionalism of the examination standards. This ensures that the assessment work can proceed according to a predetermined plan and that examinees can complete the assessment in an orderly manner. It also emphasizes fairness, impartiality, scientific rigor, and adherence to regulations.
In this C-level technical competency assessment, 70 individuals successfully passed the initial eligibility screening, with 69 actually participating. Under the strict supervision of the management department and the strong support of relevant units, the assessment process was well-organized and effective. Throughout the entire assessment period, order was maintained, and all participants voluntarily adhered to the examination rules, with no instances of misconduct. Thanks to the joint efforts of multiple parties, this assessment work was successfully carried out and concluded smoothly.
The assessment work, from preparation to completion, took nearly 3 months. CRAC highly praised the association's meticulous organization, the appropriate layout and arrangement of the examination venue, and the efficient and orderly process.
