In recent news, a member of our BI4PBV community, SK, expressed his condolences. While doing so, I thought: as time goes on, our community will undoubtedly become one of the best amateur radio forums in the world. However, there will always be members who pass away, and to honor those who came before us, I suggest we create a "SK Memorial Area" within the community.
It is recommended to set up the following:
* SK Memorial Wall page with grayed-out avatars and candle icons.
* Archive user IDs.
* Consolidate posts and replies for display.
* Prevent information conflicts caused by radio registration within this community, which involves reclaiming call signs and then reassigning them. It is recommended to implement measures such as displaying a "call sign reactivation" indicator.
This is just a preliminary idea and may not be fully developed. If you have any better ideas or suggestions, please leave them in the comments section.
Amateur radio is a scientific and romantic hobby, and I hope that those of us who are eager to get started will join in and explore this fascinating world together.
