I haven't been able to use Xianyu effectively. I contacted customer service, and they told me that I need to be a "Xianyu player" or have an "Xianyu small shop" in order to set up inventory. Both of these options have relatively high requirements, so regular users can only repeatedly list items, which is quite cumbersome.
I created a WeChat group, and those who want to purchase can scan the QR code to join and wait there. Once the goods arrive, they can pay and have them shipped.
