I have a few questions for you, experts.
1: Even though I used a V-shaped section, why do I still get reasonably good standing waves (even better stability than the V-section) at frequencies around 400 and 900?
2: The antenna performs well when flat on the ground, but poorly when raised; it performs well near (vertical) metal goalposts, but poorly when far away or touching them; it performs poorly with a directional antenna, but well without one.
3: If I only receive, does the standing wave matter?
