Yesterday, while using FT8, I couldn't make contact with anyone. I thought it might be a problem with the antenna or transceiver. After checking, everything seemed normal. However, I noticed a strange smell coming from the radio. Initially, I thought it was the smell of medication on my hands, but then I realized that the radio must have been overheating. Unfortunately, without a power meter, I couldn't test it. So, yesterday, I asked a local ham to help me monitor the frequency. Even when the power was set to maximum (as indicated by the radio), the signal was still very weak (usually, I can achieve +7 with FT8). Could this be caused by a blown amplifier tube?
