BG8LFE Hey man, I've figured it out after thorough research. Please call me "Reverse Engineering Master."
1. Download the database from http://www.dmrcontacts.com and select the Alinco (DJ-MD5TGP, DJ-MD5) version at the very bottom.
2. Open with WPS, delete the first column and the columns following "Remarks", then change the labels in the first row to Radio ID, Callsign, Name, City, State, Country, Remarks.
3. Filter by desired regions, with a total of no more than 160,000 (I have filtered by Chinese callsigns).
4. Save as a CSV file. Note that when selecting the file encoding, choose GBK instead of UTF-6.
5. Write a frequency for the walkie-talkie.
