DF4_9460 The 910 is a satellite transceiver designed for linear satellites and high-power EME, similar to most single-UV stations that do not support the 6-meter band. Typically, only shortwave radios offer this frequency range. In comparison, VHF DX on 6 meters is much simpler than on 2 meters, with more stable propagation. However, it's difficult to consistently connect to others on 6 meters unless you are constantly transmitting or listening for sporadic activity. Therefore, if you plan to operate both the 6-meter and traditional UV bands, I recommend getting a serious shortwave transceiver that supports the 6-meter + 2-meter + 70cm frequency range. Popular choices include the FT991A, IC705, and IC7100. The older IC706 MKII G is also a good option (although it's less powerful than the newer IC7000 and FT857D).
If you want to consider both options and don't require certification, you can choose TS2000, IC9100, and FT847. However, they all share the characteristic of being very heavy and not having certifications.
