1、很多SSB“资深”的老HAM老前辈其实通联从来不记录日志！ 2、即使记录了日志，SSB平时通联模式下LOTW的确认率也低的可怜。包括一些SSB台网点名活动，基本不会上传LOTW进行确认！以上日常SSB通联痛点。当然以上并不影响我SSB通联的热情。

SSB其实日志上传率也不高 SSB的比赛log我传上去qsl率也就50-70%，很多大台都根本不传log，只交比赛日志。以及国内菜市场的log以前我都传，后来发现根本没人传，所以我现在通的除非特别和我说明否则我也都不会传(x FT8一大部分人都是挂着GT自动上传日志的，相对来说qsl率还是比较高的

是这样的,如此一来纸质QSL文化就越来越没落了,感觉还是比较遗憾的.

话少的可以玩，小功率电台可以玩，家里有人怕吵闹的可以玩，家有高考生的可以玩

现在很多稀有台只有FT8才能捡到

A power of 100 watts, with a positive V antenna, would essentially never be stacked.

The background noise in the city is very high, and there's no suitable place to install an antenna. Currently, my use of a GP with SSB can only reach a few people, unless the other person has a good antenna. FT8 is the only option for someone like me who is new to this.

1. Many "experienced" older HAM operators actually never keep logs when using SSB.
2. Even when logs are recorded, the confirmation rate of LOTW in normal SSB operation mode is unfortunately very low.
This includes some SSB repeater network events, where confirmation via LOTW will not be performed.

Common pain points related to daily SSB communication.
Of course, none of this has diminished my enthusiasm for SSB communication.

Actually, the upload rate for SSB logs is not very high either.
The QSL rate for my SSB competition log was only around 50-70%, and many large stations didn't even submit logs, just the competition results.
Also, I haven't been sharing the log files from local markets before, but now I realize that no one else is sharing them either. Therefore, unless someone specifically asks me for it, I won't share the logs (x).
Many people who use FT8 have their logs automatically uploaded via GT, which results in a relatively high QSL rate.

After learning about it, I've noticed that JS8 is a relatively new and popular mode recently. There were also VARAC and FLDIGI before, but they haven't gained much traction. In fact, modes like JS8 that combine personalization with weak signal interference resistance are quite good.

The background noise is enormous... When playing SSB, I have to fight through the S7's background noise... So my SSB gameplay relies heavily on luck (and often fails due to the opponent's strength overwhelming the background noise)... Otherwise, listening to background noise for several hours would be unbearable.
With FT8, you can directly manipulate the audio signal, without listening to the sound broadcast by the radio station...

Prices fluctuate wildly, sometimes exceeding 300, sometimes over 500...

BG2EFX You are correct. When I'm using SSB, I often find myself listening for signals. Many stations that advertise equipment aren't Yagi antennas or beam antennas, but rather something like a quad antenna. The power output is typically several hundred watts to a few kilowatts. While some stations use only 100 watts, even those are usually multi-element Yagi antennas. It's rare to find a 100-watt station using a non-directional antenna. When I do manage to hear a QRP SSB signal, it's truly remarkable. For example, just today, I made contact with a British station transmitting at 30 watts on SSB, and the signal reached me at 57 decibels. I was immediately impressed by the low power output, which is very rare. It makes you wonder what the future of QRP SSB will be like.
