The firmware can receive frequencies from 18-30 MHz, supports FM, AM, and USB, but not LSB and CW. It has poor sensitivity and sound quality, so it's usable in a pinch.

To receive frequencies below 18 MHz and to transmit across the entire shortwave band, hardware modifications are required.
