After making two CJU antennas, the PVC was not long enough, so I had to make a basic version instead.😅

Material: 4 square millimeters of copper wire (diameter 2.25 mm). Stripping may result in a lower center frequency; relatively soft, better than using steel wire when fixed with chopsticks.
V Section: Rectangular frame, as per the original drawing. The key point is that the length of the wire near the handle should be approximately 1 meter, which corresponds to half of the wavelength of 145 MHz (2 meters). The seam is filled with stripped insulation, and a 14mm toothpick is inserted in between for spacing.
U-section: The copper wire on the outside of the rectangle should be adjusted so that it is slightly shorter than shown in the diagram, approximately 315mm. This may vary depending on individual circumstances, and should be adjusted accordingly. For the section inside the frame, it should be about 1 to 2 cm longer than the outside section.


Actual performance: Works within approximately 1000 km, with normal reception; has not yet been tested for launch.👍

Question: In the 144 MHz frequency range, I occasionally observe two low-frequency null points and a high point in between. I don't understand why this is happening.
