Many people are using my nationwide template that doesn't require a fixed location, but...Make sure to modify it based on your specific needs.Currently, we've found that some enthusiasts are only replacing their ID cards, operating licenses, and radio station information, while leaving all other details (including photos and the explanation for applying nationally) unchanged. If this continues, the review process will become increasingly strict, requiring more and more documents, making it even harder to apply! I hope everyone can cooperate and avoid causing unnecessary obstacles.
Furthermore, if it's not a strict requirement, I don't recommend applying for a national license; having a local license that meets the needs is sufficient.
Now, let's discuss the issue of deactivation. The problem originated when local college students purchased an FT-891 to apply for registration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). When they tried to proceed, a pop-up message appeared indicating that it had already been registered by someone else. With my assistance, we were able to contact the original seller after several attempts, and they cooperated fully in carrying out the deactivation process. The following outlines the steps involved:
1. Identify the original owner (which, in practice, means identifying the person named on the document, not necessarily the current or previous owner; hereafter referred to as "original owner").
2. Communicate and coordinate with the original owner, who needs to agree to return the original license and submit a cancellation application after writing and signing it.
3. Return the original radio license and the signed application for cancellation, together.
