本人虽然之前就考了老B证，但是一直没有设短波台。日常也就通过本地中继使用手台进行通联。今年来时间比较充足，想设短波台尝试学习一下其他的通联方式了。但是主要应用场景肯定还是本地UV段。看了下IC705应该是满足使用需要的，但是毕竟老B证可以设100W的台，所以看起来IC7300也不错。这里想问下各位大佬，IC7300是否支持UV段通信？或者就我这个使用情况有无更好的台子推荐？

个人不太建议买短波加UV二合一的，没那个必要。ICOM7300体积太大，不太适合做车载……

7300 没 uv，有 uv 的百瓦短波机器有核准的应该最常见的就是 991a 和 7100 了车载短波加 UV 的话，设备可以考虑 ic-7100，这个有 100W 短波，也有 UV，面板可以拆卸，比 991a 更适合车载使用，只是比 991a 少个频谱，但它核准只有 30mhz 以下的核准，没有 50mhz 和 uv，能否登记 uv 执照要看地方政策不过话说回来，不知道为啥日本两家都核准缺波段，991a 缺了 144 和 430 的核准，705 缺了 50mhz 的核准，7300 也是缺了 50mhz 的核准，9700 缺了 1.2g 的核准，两家一个臭毛病

建议考虑UV段机器和短波机器分开买，装两套电台和天馈，短波不带天调的话就需要经常调天线，但如果单买UV段机器，无论短波怎么调，UV段机器和天线都不需要去折腾了我车上装了两个电台，一个FT-891，一个威诺6600，6600天线装好就不用管了，891平时不装天线，需要的时候再装，用完再卸掉

I looked at the IC705 and it seems suitable for my needs, but since I have an old B license, I can set up a 100W station, so the IC7300 also looks good. bi6mhq I've sold my XieGu G90S. Taking advantage of the weak yen, I'm planning to buy a 7300. The 891 doesn't have a spectrum analyzer, and the 7300 seems more user-friendly for beginners. Also, I heard that the interface on the dentist's equipment is not very intuitive (?). Even with only 20 watts, you can still transmit SSB to Japan at 59+ MHz, but with 100 watts, of course, it would be much better! The 7300 has both VHF and HF modes, so if I have the budget, getting a UV + HF full-mode radio would be great. Plus, you can also use it to contact GC stations.

The IC7300 does not support the UV range, and there are relatively few full-band 100W machines available. Perhaps the FT991 could work? In reality, the IC705 can meet the requirements as a chassis, and if 100W power is needed, amplifiers can also be considered.

I don't really recommend buying a shortwave/UV combination unit, as it's not necessary. The ICOM-7300 is too large and wouldn't be suitable for use in a car.

7300 doesn't have UV, but there are common, watt-scale shortwave radios with UV that have been approved. The most common ones are likely the 991A and 7100.

Regarding a vehicle-mounted shortwave radio with UV capabilities, the IC-7100 is a good option. It has 100W of shortwave power and also includes UV functionality. The panel can be removed, making it more suitable for vehicle use than the 991A. However, it lacks some frequency bands compared to the 991A, but it's only approved for frequencies below 30MHz, and does not include 50MHz or UV. Whether you can obtain a UV license depends on local regulations.

However, it seems that both Japanese companies have failed to obtain approval for the 991A and 705 models, specifically regarding the 144 MHz and 430 MHz bands, as well as the 50 MHz band. The 7300 and 9700 models also lack approval for the 50 MHz band and 1.2 GHz band, respectively. It appears that both companies share a common problem.

It is recommended to consider purchasing a UV band receiver and a shortwave receiver separately, with two sets of antennas. If you don't want to adjust the antenna for the shortwave receiver, but need to frequently adjust it for the UV band receiver, then buying a UV band receiver alone will eliminate the need to constantly adjust the antenna, regardless of how you set the shortwave receiver.

I have two radios in my car: an FT-891 and a Weinone 6600. The 6600 doesn't need an antenna, so I don't have to worry about it. For the 891, I usually don't use an antenna; I only install it when I need it, and then remove it afterward.

705 My friend just bought a US version of the 8000+ at this price. It's not as good as a higher-end radio like the 100W one. If you have the capability, go for the Yaesu FTdx710. That's a great radio, and if you want to upgrade later, you can take the exam. If you don't plan on taking the exam, this radio will last a long time. If portability is important, consider the FT891, but without a spectrum display, it feels like something is missing. In that case, it's not as good. I feel more confident with this choice.

For use in the car, I use the 891. At home, I use either the 710 or the 7300, depending on the usage scenario. The antennas used while mobile are not very efficient; they rely on the environment for signal reception. The most important factor is the antenna placement conditions, which are also the same at home. However, using both UV and this device completely depends on personal needs, and it makes more sense to buy them separately.
