Hello everyone, I'm VR2WAA. I believe many young people in the Greater Bay Area also know me. I participated in the Hong Kong Amateur Radio Examination held by the Office of the Communications and Telecommunications Agency on November 11, 2023, and passed it. I have also applied for a CEPT-compliant amateur radio certificate.
Exam Overview:

Exam duration: 3 hours
Exam fees: 350 HKD
Target audience: All ages and all identities (non-Hong Kong residents are also eligible)
Exam Difficulty: Equivalent to B to C level in mainland China (Don't argue, "杠" means what you think it does)
Exam questions: 100 multiple-choice and true/false questions

Process:
Please register for the exam at least 14 days in advance.
After filling out the online form, be sure to keep a copy of the PDF version.
In a moment, you will receive an email asking you to submit your materials, and send the PDF file.
If you successfully complete the process, you will receive an email requesting payment.
Once your payment has been successful, you will receive an exam notification letter at the address provided in your email inbox before the exam.
Taking the exam
The results will be mailed to your mailbox.

The transcript cannot be used as a general proof of qualification, but you can apply for a Hong Kong amateur radio certificate (HK$120).
