I managed to make over 130 QSOs, but only scored less than 110. This is actually quite surprising, as it's just a few days after the competition started. I marked 20 QSOs, and people might be surprised that I only scored less than 110 despite making so many QSOs. But this is indeed the case, and I was also very surprised.
This refers to the situation where, out of over 130 QSOs (two-way radio communications), only about 110 were actually scored. What are your thoughts on this? Please share your opinions in the comments section!
My solo QRP experiment with the WAPC in 2021, lasting two days and eight hours, where I made 35 QSOs, was incredibly motivating. At the time, due to a lack of battery preparation, I could only transmit at 5W on SSB, which must have been quite annoying for other stations.
I was surprised that I still had to bother my fellow operators this year. It's a shame. I managed to get half a QSO on the 40-meter band, but I couldn't even think about using the 80-meter band. (Actually, with DP on 40 meters, it should be possible, but last night it was too dark outside, and I didn't dare to go over to the DP to turn off the PTT. Next time, I will definitely bring a full-sized flashlight.)
However, this year, with the help of two antennas provided by BG4GOV, I was able to have a much better experience on the 20-meter band.
Currently, the daytime access scheme for individual public transport to reach the platform seems relatively complete (i.e., individuals can arrive at the platform using public transport). The next step should be to optimize the experience on the platform given the current equipment, and we have some initial ideas. We will see if we can create a prototype in the short term. We should not consider individual camping on the platform for now.
P.S. I recently feel that single-person, full-band, high-power operation isn't impossible.
P.S. I believe that "Mulan Weir Field" should be able to handle X-QSO.
