After seeing BA1IO's use of a flat key cap, I was inspired and wanted to try out the authentic feel of an American-style key. After looking at several options, which were quite expensive, I finally found this practice key and decided to buy it to try it out.

Overall, the American-style key feel is much softer than what we're used to. The two-finger technique is really satisfying; you can try it while sitting with your legs crossed on a couch, or even while leaning back and relaxing. However, for formal kneeling positions where you need to be upright, the two-finger technique requires a lot more relaxation, especially in terms of mental state.

I got bored after playing with the exercise equipment for a while, so I disconnected my own speaker and connected it to a radio to try contacting some friends. Immediately, I decided to modify this switch into a rugged, off-grid communication device. Initially, I planned to simply cut it in half for a quick and easy solution.

However, after seeing the pictures, everyone eventually found a piece of angle iron at a scrap metal collection site and used it to create a new base. They then easily removed the four anti-slip pads and attached them to the new base.

This resulted in the creation of this compact American field switch.

Thank you for watching!
