I recently built my own MMDVM box and also experimented with serial port firmware development. I've written a firmware that is currently performing well in DMR mode, but since I don't have any other standard devices, I haven't implemented YSF or other modes yet. If anyone could provide the raw serial transmission data for the YSF mode, I can add it later.
The screen firmware is based on TJC8048X370_011, and the test hardware consists of a Raspberry Pi 4+ with a dual-channel hot spot board, WPSD system, and Nextion driver. The DMR mode supports dual-slot operation, allowing display of call signs, names, group call signs, location (including province based on domestic call signs), and the last six calls.
If you have TJC X series monitors with 800x480 resolution and serial ports, please contact me to obtain the corresponding firmware testing. The T and K series may require some additional adjustments due to differences in certain control properties compared to the X series.

BI1RRE The NextionDriver documentation mentions the ability to listen for commands returned over the serial port, but after repeated testing, I found that it could only switch pages and adjust screen brightness. Other functions such as shutting down, restarting, and updating the system are not possible using serial port commands.

The last comment on GitHub was mine, indicating that if commands are sent via the screen serial port, they will be effective, but if commands are received via the screen serial port, they will become ineffective.Github

Also: The 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800x480 currently only supports DMR mode, and it's unlikely that this will be changed in the near future. I plan to convert the firmware for the larger screen to mimic the Live Caller interface eventually, but for now, I'll stick with this setup…

The firmware for the 7-inch screen was rewritten to mimic the Live Caller format, and it now uses UTF-8 encoding to display Chinese names from the RadioID database.
3. 5-inch screen firmware was updated to fix several minor bugs, and it was also recompiled using UTF-8 encoding.
