Last night, I had an impulse to write down the local direct and repeater frequencies for my Yaesu FT-857D. Suddenly, I remembered that in late 2019, I used the CHIRP software to create profiles for the Yaesu FT-897D, and I even made a video and uploaded it to Bilibili. However, I didn't have any existing software at the time, so I downloaded it. After more than four years of development, CHIRP can now handle a wider range of models, and the interface has also been translated into Chinese, making it easier to use. Furthermore, I discovered that CHIRP can also create profiles for ICOM-7000 to 7400 series radios (including the 7300). Unfortunately, the Yaesu FT-891 is not included in the list of models that can be created.
