I remember that around 2016-2017, the outdoor portable solar panels available on the market were mostly made of multi-crystalline silicon, with conversion rates around 20%, and they were relatively expensive (around 500 RMB for a 100W panel).
A few days ago, I saw solar panels on the pxx website, and found that most of them were made of single-crystal silicon. They claimed a conversion rate of over 30%, and the prices were also relatively affordable (around 200 yuan for those costing around 100,000 yuan).
I understand that technology is constantly evolving, but I want to confirm whether the current market situation for portable solar panels is actually as advanced as it seems, or if it's just hype. If anyone knows more about this, please help me understand. Thank you!
