找到的说明都是通过中继和热点发给服务器的，没看到介绍怎么直频分享位置的。所以DMR能像YSF和Dstar那样直频时候直接显示对方位置吗？

直频又不是中继模，怎么使用DMR模式

Can DMR transmit frequency directly?

BI1ODV It should be similar to simulation. With direct frequency, the default setting doesn't require synchronization slots; just use the same frequency and color code, and then initiate a full call, which should work. Since it doesn't need an internet ID, you should also be able to fill in random values.

BloodBlade With the ZASTONE 878, if DMR is enabled with GPS settings and APRS is also turned on, it's possible to transmit data. Currently, platforms like HT, Hongke, Winno, and ZASTONE, along with handheld radios from brands like Lianchang, can also transmit location information in a simulated environment, and this information can even be sent to a server via APRS.

The tutorials I've seen all show how to submit location data through repeaters and hotspots for processing on a server, but I haven't found any tutorials that explain how to directly transmit location information in direct-to-mode.

If you're using APRS, that's a completely different system, and I don't think it should be considered a feature of DMR.

BloodBlade Alternatively, we can understand it this way: APRS is similar to the signaling function of a mobile radio, where information is transmitted along with the signal encoding. The receiving end then decodes and displays the relevant information. If there's a receiving server, it can directly send the information to the server. In fact, this is also possible between different brands, as long as the format is consistent. For example, APRS communication between Yaesu and Jianwu is also feasible.

On the GD77, I saw that after releasing the PTT, it's possible to send APRS information, which could also be considered as sharing my location.

WOLF-chiken That's incorrect; APRS was actually a social software used before the internet, while signaling is a way to control communication infrastructure. The difference is as significant as that between a map and a phone card.

That being said, WB4APR had a genuine vision of combining all networked repeaters worldwide into a super-amateur radio network with enhanced signaling capabilities for APRS, but unfortunately, it never came to fruition.

BloodBlade It's perfectly fine. What I mean is that APRS works by transmitting and receiving signals, and as long as both devices have a compiling module, they can transmit data in the same way as signaling.
