Abstract:
On April 27, 2024, International Marconi Day, I was fortunate to participate in a special communication event held at the Signal Hill site. Signal Hill is the location where Guglielmo Marconi and his team successfully transmitted signals across the Atlantic Ocean for the first time using radio waves, completing their work on December 12, 1901, at Signal Hill in St. John's, Canada. I was honored to be able to visit this site and participate in the special communication event. It is certainly a pilgrimage destination for amateur radio enthusiasts around the world. Marconi's experiments and applications of electromagnetic waves and radio technology have allowed us to communicate with HAM friends from all over the world, so I hope that this "Pilgrimage to sacred sites"I'd like to share what I've learned with everyone, purely for casual conversation and exchange about radio culture."
