There was an idea: to create a QSL card album, similar to a passport, where each confirmed contact (QSO) would have a VISA sticker applied, along with the callsign stamp, to indicate entry.
Disadvantages: 1. It's a bit heavy, making postage for regular mail slightly more expensive. 2. Because it looks so similar to the real passport scanner, I was afraid someone might try to use it to access the secure area where passports are read.
