Before dinner, I thought about familiarizing myself with the FT8 configuration and usage, and then I tested it on the 50 MHz band.
The middle process went exactly as expected, with no unexpected events or responses to the CQ signal.
Just as I was about to shut down the device, I received a CQ and attempted to reply, but surprisingly, we were able to establish communication.
The first time I connected to a network outside of my province, it was over 7000 km – that's fantastic!
FT8 is a great tool for beginners!
