I bought a GT-12 in February and thought that after a year, the bugs should have been fixed. However, I was still experiencing problems... In early April, the screen interference from my GT-12 made me very frustrated. Therefore, I followed a tutorial to purchase materials and build my own shielding device.
The materials are simple: 40-wide double-sided copper foil tape and 40-wide high-temperature adhesive tape.
The GT-12 is also quite easy to disassemble; I used a set of Xiaomi screwdrivers for this.
Loosen the screws, remove the three rings, and then gently pry open the screen. Be careful not to damage the cable connections while opening it.

Once disassembled, it looks like this, mainly consisting of the main board, cable connectors, and the display board.
It's clear from the manufacturer's label that my machine was produced in January 2024.
Following the instructions, I placed a layer of copper foil tape between the two layers of high-temperature tape. Then, according to the instructions, I exposed the grounding wire at the bottom and the Bluetooth antenna's hole in the screen, and attached it to the motherboard to confirm its position. I also left an empty space above the screen interface so that I could easily run wires for grounding connections. (In this case, I didn't completely cover the motherboard on the left side, and I forgot to apply tape to the grounding wire at the bottom of the screen.)

Next, a layer of copper foil tape was applied to the screen cable wrapping, followed by hot melt adhesive. It is important to distinguish between the screen cable and motherboard cable directions at this stage. Also, leave a grounding section at the top of the copper foil on the side of the motherboard, without applying hot melt adhesive. Use copper foil tape to connect the cables and shielding layer for grounding. Based on the original tutorial, I reinforced the connection points with hot melt adhesive.

Then, apply high-temperature tape to the motherboard to prevent accidental damage to components. Be sure to avoid applying it near the connectors.
Then, you can easily assemble it and check if the screen connections are loose. It's not recommended to power on at this point to avoid damaging the device.

After confirming that there are no issues, carefully inspect the machine for any loose parts or adhesive residue. Verify that the shielding layer's copper foil is in contact with the machine's aluminum plate.

Once the issue is resolved, you can proceed with the installation and testing.
This tutorial cannot completely eliminate screen interference, but it can reduce it.
Before I started, I had noise interference from both the 4-stage noise reduction and the backlight brightness setting. Also, using a short antenna near my legs caused interference. After I made these changes, the problem disappeared.
