The reason for buying this.
1、UV98: Excellent additional features and easy to use. The downside, in my opinion, is that if your APRS is transmitting on channel 2, using channel 1 for voice communication can sometimes inadvertently transmit the APRS signal to channel 1. I'm not sure if this is a specific issue. However, I am impressed with the external devices compatible with the UV98. I basically connect it directly to the car's power supply and use the battery in the car to keep it charged, allowing for continuous transmission. The UV98 is purely for amateur radio use. If you want a handheld radio with APRS functionality, this could be a good option.
2、 N76, similar to above @Bi4KKF The frequency range that the teacher mentioned works well, and can be seen with the SSTV app. However, this is a new product, and there may be bugs that could occur during production. I haven't used it myself, so I cannot provide an evaluation.
3. Once, a senior executive from a major company said that "you get what you pay for," and if it didn't meet their needs, they would purchase equipment from a specific state. This was also reasonable. However, the learning curve might be steep.
