For a UV duplex system, since the V frequency is 145 MHz and the U frequency is 435 MHz, which is three times the difference, the VHF oscillator resonates at the same frequency as the UHF. Therefore, it cannot be directly connected in parallel, otherwise strange things will happen. Typically, UV duplex systems use either a coupled feed, also known as inductive feeding, where the feed line is directly connected to the VHF excitation array; or an independent feed, such as the JYR system, which uses gamma matching to separate the UV signals and prevent them from interfering with each other.
