拿到呼号也快三年了，之前由于周边阻挡严重，热情还没烧起来就退了。今年搬到了顶层，看楼顶有条件架天线，准备再次入坑在天空的淘宝店看上一款老鹰HUV-8全波段基地台天线不知道是否值得入，大佬们给点建议

甘蔗没有两头甜，既要.....又要.....不现实。看你准备玩的方向是啥，HF/UV中继吹水/UV卫星？然后看看同样爱好的成熟玩家，用得多的天馈系统，大概率就是最成熟的方案了。当然，有条件上塔+旋转器+八木永远是一步到位的选择😃👍

不知道楼顶能不能临时架台，如果允许，可以用不同的天线先测下底噪情况，再根据自己玩的模式和方向(国内orDX)，还有架设环境，选择折中合适的天线。

天线有条件架设，还是考虑全尺寸的正v、倒v吧。2米7高的GP在市区，基本就是摆设，勉强玩玩ft8、cw。或者先50块买根5米6拉杆体验一下。

I've had this call sign for almost three years, but I gave up before I really got going because of the heavy interference in the area.

This year, I moved to the top floor. Since there's space on the roof for installing an antenna, I'm planning to get back into it again.

Browse the "Sky's Online Store" and check out the Eagle HUV-8 full-band base station antenna.

I'm wondering if it's worth buying. Can anyone offer some advice?

The sugarcane isn't sweet on both ends; it needs both... and... at the same time. This is unrealistic.
Based on your intended mode of operation (HF/UHF repeater or satellite?), what are some recommended local repeaters?
Then, consider experienced players with similar interests who use a more comprehensive system of rewards; this is likely the most mature and effective solution.
Of course, using a tower plus a rotating antenna and an eight-element Yagi antenna is always a viable option.😃👍

I'm not sure if it's possible to temporarily install a mast on the roof. If that's allowed, I could use different antennas to first measure the background noise level, and then choose an antenna based on my preferred operating mode (e.g., local or DX), as well as the installation environment.

BI1AVH It seems like I'm getting off track. I looked at that HUV-8 antenna, which is a broadband antenna and costs 1900 RMB.😨The efficiency of shortwave transmission is likely not very high, and it's probably more cost-effective to buy a simple whip antenna plus a feedline for around 100 yuan. It's best to avoid buying one.

The antenna needs a support structure, so consider either a full-sized "V" or "inverted V". A 2.7m GP in the city center is mainly for display purposes and can barely be used for FT8 or CW. Alternatively, you could buy a 5.6m telescopic pole for around 50 yuan to try it out first.

BI1SFO Last night, I tried using the 439.75 frequency on ClearLink. I asked if it might be a problem with my antenna, but I don't think so. I just set up the equipment yesterday, and initially couldn't connect at 438.450. I thought there might be something wrong with my antenna, but then when I changed the frequency, it connected immediately.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions above. It seems that researching the setup scheme for a legitimate (verified) account is more suitable at this stage.
