To put it this way, these business-grade devices are built around highly integrated FM chips, and their underlying principles differ significantly. Their sensitivity and other characteristics can be considered similar, although the different amplifiers may have slightly different performance. Bluetooth and other features are simply add-ons to the MCU, which are not particularly useful. I feel that having two handheld radios is sufficient (this is just my personal opinion).
I recommend checking out UV's SSB machine; it supports both FSK and CW, which are important features.
