Don't try to memorize the symbols or their relationships; this won't help you. Instead, start listening and directly find an app with a speed of 30wpm. Use Morse code every day to train yourself (while training, remember which letter you are using). After a while, you will naturally learn them. The same applies to letters, numbers, common phrases, and call signs.
Once you've learned how to listen, find an experienced ham operator and learn their Morse code tapping technique. You will then naturally learn how to send Morse code.
