Some questions about activating POTA?

BI1AVH

Any contact made without using a repeater in the park will be counted. Contacting someone at the market and responding to their CQ call on 438.5 MHz will also be counted.

BI1AVH

Lynx Thank you for the explanation. I understand now. That makes it much easier. I was previously trying to get ten answers by calling, but this is much simpler.😅😅

"If eight people reply to me, and I also reply to others twice each, for a total of ten replies, does that count as an activation failure?"
The activity is limited to the park area.
If you connect to a park radio from inside your home, that counts as a hunter, and the points awarded would be for hunters (in this case, 8 activation points and 2 hunter points).
If all activities take place within the park, it counts as an activation, and the activator earns points (in this case, 10 activations, with 0 hunter points).

BI1AVH

BH3XZT I understand that if any of the ten devices within the park are activated, regardless of whether they are initiating or responding to a sweep, it will be much easier.😂😂Thank you, XZT, for your help._{Thank you.}

"Simple CW call activation requires at least an hour or more to get 10 responses. This can be quite tiring, and the number of responses tends to decrease over time. Typically, the responses come from active hunters (around 80% are from JA),"
Currently, the "Spots" system on the pota website has a feature for specifying appointment activation times. You can enter the park number, time, and mode you want to visit in the interface, which should attract more hunters. Please try it out!

BI1AVH

BH3XZT I have been using it continuously.😂😂Otherwise, no one would reply.😊

BI1AVH 公园激活者可以回答，可以主叫，

I'm riding my bike up the hill again.😀

BI1AVH

BI1NJK The park I didn't go to. 😂😂

BI4IVE

It must be CW only. For example, if someone shouts "UV" in a park and another person responds, does this count as one communication?

BI1AVH

BI4IVE Yes, I can handle SSB, CW, data, and FM transmissions. 😃

BI4IVE
All QSOs conducted outside of terrestrial repeaters are counted.
Even if you are simply talking to a security guard at the park entrance (and they must be wearing a radio), that counts as
A single purchase of ten items will activate it.
If it's not activated
Please also upload the Tonglian records to the POTA website.

BI4IVE

YofoaStudio That means I can find 10 people on a specific frequency and report their information, and I also need to report the information about those I communicate with.

YofoaStudio

BI4IVE
It's perfectly possible to get ten people together for a QSO (again, this isn't recommended).
Please note that
To upload the POTA communication logs, simply have CQ's side handle the upload.
The responder/hunter platform only requires you to register a POTA account. After the calling party uploads the logs, they will be synchronized to your account.

BI4IVE

YofoaStudio Okay, understood.

First, try calling on 900 MHz once.
