Hello everyone, I'm planning to purchase the 878 recently. My main goal is to use it as an entry-level radio for digital communication. I've looked at both the standard version and the second generation Plus version. Will the difference in APRS transmission and reception capabilities between the two versions significantly impact my actual usage experience?
The standard version allows for testing, but only has APRS sending functionality. Which version do you recommend?
