The xbaitu firmware supports QuanSheng UVK5, UVK6, and 5R models, as well as other export-oriented models. The xbaitu team is working intensively on debugging tests to prepare for the final firmware release.
Please note that I will update this post with the latest firmware releases as soon as they are available!
The firmware is based on multiple open-source technologies supported by friends in Canada and Europe.
Supports transmission and reception in the 2MHz-1400MHz range (following the regulations on radio management, certain frequency modes for public testing are prohibited from transmitting).
The xbaitu team will optimize the firmware to achieve maximum compression, providing many practical features and functions such as startup animation, without requiring expansion. We plan to later adapt an external Bluetooth keyboard through k-head embedded hardware for partial Chinese input operations. This is expected to enable richer content after expansion.
Thank you for your attention to xbaitu.
