The statement says that machines with a power rating of less than 15W are allowed, but in practice, if you have a machine exactly at 15W, it shouldn't be a problem. The "≤15W" specification for certified machines also includes exactly 15W machines.
If it's really not possible, then 14.99W is still less than 15W, and since I've already made it myself, all that's needed is to add a dampening circuit (x).

There's also a machine, the X5105 from Xiegu. It's a good machine, although it doesn't have a spectrum. Because of the 6100, it's now very affordable and has an approved code.

I have both the X6100 and the 705 machines, so I can share my experiences with you.

If you want to test it, I recommend considering a used X6100. You should be able to find one for under 3000 RMB in the seafood market. The price of the X6200 may also decrease after its release. It has a valid certificate and comes with internal calibration, which makes using the large-screen spectrum very convenient.

If you want to buy a 705, there are options for genuine or Japanese/US versions. Be sure to check if it can be verified before purchasing. I bought the Japanese version, but the verification code on the back is missing, and it cannot be verified in Beijing. However, some provinces and cities reportedly allow verification.

In terms of usage, the X6100 is still more commonly used. I typically bring a small package with me when hiking, which weighs around 705 grams. When hiking in areas where there are no cell towers, you also need to bring a handheld transceiver (HT). If you don't have an HT, you need to manually adjust the antenna frequency and be careful not to cause high-frequency interference that could damage the radio.
The screen on the 705 isn't as clear and comfortable as the 6100, but its main advantage is that it has a touchscreen. However, the speakers on the 705 sound much better than those on the 6100.
Of course, in terms of signal reception, the 705 is definitely superior. The price is also competitive.
