Announcement of Registration for the First Round of Amateur Radio Station Operation Skill Verification Examination (Henan Province, Zhengzhou Venue), 2024.
To all amateur radio enthusiasts:
In response to the call from numerous amateur radio enthusiasts, and in accordance with the "Regulations for Management of Amateur Radio Stations" and relevant documents issued by the China Association of Radio, we plan to hold the first examination of the year 2024 for Class B amateur radio operators' operational technical capability verification. The following information regarding this exam is hereby notified:
I. Time and Location
Registration period:
February 8, 2024 00:00 – February 10, 2024 23:59
Exam duration:
Starts at 14:00 on February 25, 2024
Exam location:
Zhengzhou (specific location to be determined; please follow our WeChat channel for updates)
II. Participants
Individuals who obtain a Class A operation certificate by August 25, 2023, are eligible to take this B-class exam.
Due to limitations in venue and other conditions, the number of participants for this assessment is limited to 50.
This assessment accepts 60 applicants for pre-registration, but only the top 50 applicants based on the order of registration and submission of complete and correct materials will be invited to participate in this assessment. Please register as early as possible and ensure that all required information is filled out accurately.
The list of eligible candidates who have met the requirements will be publicly announced on the Henan Provincial Radio and Television Association's official WeChat account, and a notification with the exam admission ticket will also be sent through the registration system.
Individuals who successfully registered for this exam but did not attend without a valid reason will no longer be eligible to participate in the Henan Province Operational Ability Verification Exam within one year.
III. Examination Requirements
Following the notification issued by the China Association of Radio, titled "Regarding the Temporary Standard for Assessing the Technical Competency Verification Assessment of Amateur Radio Stations,"
The B-level exam consists of 50 questions, with a time limit of 60 minutes. A passing score is achieving at least 40 correct answers (including).
IV. Important Notes
1. Each applicant is only given one opportunity to take the exam. If an applicant fails to attend or does not pass the exam, they must re-register for the next exam.
2. To take the exam, please bring your admission ticket (printed by yourself) and your original ID card. After signing in, please find your assigned seat according to the seat numbers announced by the examination venue.
3. Candidates must answer on the answer sheet, using a pen or pencil to completely fill in all the selected circles, and cannot use crossing out or marking with a checkmark instead. Also, candidates must write their name and ID number in black ink, using standard font, on the exam paper (signatures and grades marked with pencils or illegible fonts on the answer sheet are invalid).
4. Candidates are prohibited from talking or communicating with each other during the exam, and they must not look at, copy, or intentionally have others copy their answers. Any violation of these rules will result in invalidating the exam results.
5. During the exam, original admission tickets and ID cards must be placed in the upper left corner of the desk for the invigilator to check.
To ensure the health and well-being of candidates, please cooperate in the following:
1. No smoking in the examination hall and hallways.
2. Participants must comply with the arrangements made by staff. If you experience symptoms such as fever or cough, or fail to register as required, or refuse to cooperate with staff, you will be prohibited from taking the exam.
